When you think of fiber crafts like knitting and crochet, do you think of your sheep friends at Burleigh?
Volunteer and tour guide Rissa did when she wrote a recent article called "Don't Pull the Wool Over Your Eyes" for the national publication, Vegetarian Journal magazine.
The article briefly outlines reasons why considering plant-based yarn is an ethical way to go, as well as interviewing yarn expert, Heidi Braacx from British Columbia , Canada. Basically, any craft idea is doable with a plant-based yarn -- and if you grab a copy of the magazine, you get to see an adorable picture of Burleigh sheep, Franklin, as well!
