Long time Burleigh volunteer and tour guide, Rissa, had a short story called "Brothers" published in Vegan Tales, Volume Two. The book is an international collection of stories penned exclusively by vegan authors.
In "Brothers," Rissa recounts the 2019 loss of Mister the goat. She has always had a special place in her heart for all the goat residents at the sanctuary, and felt honoring Mister's memory with a story was one small way his legacy could live on.
